Independent design. Local business.

You do great work. Your website should show it.

I build clear, phone-friendly websites for local businesses. Thoughtful design that looks like you, speaks plainly, and makes the next step easy.

Start with a free one-page mockup. No pressure after.

Every detail, considered.
Website design conceptsBuilt for the big picture. And the small screen.
A small studio.
A considered approach.
Clear on a phone Built around your business An easy next step
01 / THE STUDIO

For the shops that
keep a town running.

Your website should feel as considered as the work you put into your business. It should load quickly on a phone, say what you do, and make you easy to reach.

Hi, I’m Justin. I build every site myself, and I’m the one you talk to start to finish. Serving the Southern Tier & Finger Lakes, NY.

Meet the process

02 / THE POSSIBILITIES

Made to stand out.
Made to make sense.

Different businesses. Different personalities.
These self-initiated concepts show what a thoughtful website can look like.

CONCEPT 01

Good craftsmanship, in plain sight.

Trades & home services · Website concept

CONCEPT 02

A place worth finding.

Diners & cafés · Website concept

Fictional businesses and original generated imagery. Design concepts, not client projects.

Imagine your business here

03 / WHAT I BUILD

Your business.
Your kind of website.

Start with what your customers need.
Make every detail earn its place.

01

Trades & home services

Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping, cleaning. Show your services and the area you cover, with a call button that’s easy to find.

Discuss Trades & home services
02

Diners, cafés & food spots

Hours, a menu, directions, and photos people can find on their phone. Give them the details they need before they head over.

Discuss Diners, cafés & food spots
03

Barbers & salons

Show your services and your work. Make it clear how to request an appointment, with booking tools discussed as part of the scope.

A fresh start for your website

A new website or a clearer version of the one you have. I start with the useful details and build around your business.

A CLOSER LOOK

Less clutter.
More clarity.

Good design helps people find what matters. Move the slider to explore an illustrative redesign, from a crowded page to a clearer, phone-friendly layout.

PHONE FIRST

Easy to read. Easy to act on.

From cluttered to clear.Illustrative concept

An illustrative website redesign: the before page has crowded navigation and scattered information. The after page puts the business services and contact action in a clear layout. The phone in front shows the redesigned page fitted to a small screen. This is a concept, not a client project.

An example redesign, not a client project.

04 / THE PROCESS

See the idea.
Then decide.

Start with something you can actually see.
A free mockup, a conversation, and a clear plan before the build.

  1. 01

    Free one-page mockup.

Tell me about your business. I’ll put together a mockup of what your site could look like. Free, no obligation.

  2. 02

    Talk it through.

We go over the mockup together. Tell me what’s right, what’s off, and what’s missing. Agree on the scope before the build.

  3. 03

    Build and review.

I build the site and send you a link to look over. You review the words and the design. Nothing goes live without your OK.

  4. 04

    Launch with a plan.

Before launch, we agree on how hosting, handoff, and future updates will work. You’ll know what’s included.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before
you ask.

What’s the catch with the free mockup?

No obligation to buy a website. The mockup gives you something concrete to look at. Like the direction? We can talk about building it.

Do I have to write everything myself?

No. I’ll ask you a short list of questions and write it in plain English. You read it over and fix anything that’s off before it goes live.

I already have a Facebook page. Can I keep it?

Yes. A website can sit alongside it, with your hours, services, and contact details in one place. Keep using the channels that work for you.

How long does a website take?

It depends on the scope and how quickly we can pull together your photos, services, and hours. I’ll agree on a realistic date with you before we start.
